Yes, GadgetShieldz is easily removable from your device. In case you wish to remove the skins from your device at any time, peel the skin starting from a corner and away from itself.

Will it leave behind any residue?

No, none of our products will leave any residue on any of your devices.

Is it re-usable?

No, it is not re-usable. The shield deforms and changes in shape and size once it is removed.

Does is come pre-cut or do I have to cut it?

GadgetShieldz comes completely customized and precision cut for your device. Cut-outs are made for all the buttons, camera, battery cover and all other ports so that these are left uncovered for use. What do I need to apply the Skinnova skins on my device?

You will require a hair dryer and some patience. Just follow the instructions carefully given in the package or on our website and you will be good.

I did not align the skins correctly. Can I take them off and reapply?

Yes, you can. Remove the skin immediately if you see any error in alignment. Peel the skins carefully without stretching or deforming it before you align them again.

Is it necessary to use a hair dryer?

Yes, hair dryer is a must to help the skins adhere to contoured surfaces like the corners and sides. This also ensures that the corners of your Skinnova skins stay flush with your device and prevent prematurely peeling.

How do I use a hair dryer to secure the corners?

Keep the hair dryer on a moderate heat setting. Warm any one of the corner areas of the skin for 3-4 seconds with the hair dryer and rub it against the device to adhere it on the surface. Repeat this for the other corners, edges or any areas of the skin which are not adhering correctly.

Applying the skins on some textured devices might be slightly difficult. Use generous amounts of heat using the hair dryer to apply the skins on those kind of surfaces.

Are the Skinnova skins removable?

Yes, the skins remove without leaving any residue behind. To remove, just peel off the skin starting from any one of the corners.


How do I apply GadgetShieldz on my device?

Why do I have to switch off my device for 6 hours?

Keeping your device switched off for 6 hours will give enough time for the film to cure and sets itself properly on the device. It would also ensure that moisture, if any, from the installation evaporates and any "cloudiness" or “haziness” disappears. In some climatic conditions (cold and humid) it may take additional time for the film to become totally clear. Practically, leaving your phone switched off for even 2-3 hours should be fine but we would suggest being extra careful for the first 6 hours.

Do I really need to use soap water solution for the application process?

Yes, but only on the shield, NOT on the device. A thin layer of moisture on the film is all that is needed during the installation process. It doesn’t have to be dripping wet.

The solution de-activates the adhesive temporarily so that you can easily slide the GadgetShieldz on the device for a perfect alignment. By giving you that extra bit of time, it makes the application a lot easier than your normal screen protectors. So don’t let this part frighten you. How do I know whether my order has been successful?

As soon as your payment is processed through the respective payment gateway, you will redirected to our site where you can check your order details. Your order will be marked as 'Processed' and you will also receive a confirmation email from us. Check your SPAM folders, in case you have not received your order confirmation email. Please add our email and to your address book to make sure our emails don’t land up in your spam folder.

How do I check my order status?

You can click on “My Account” and check the order status. Your order will be marked as “shipped” once it is dispatched and you will also receive a shipping confirmation email along with the tracking number (if available) and the shipping partner's name. You can use the tracking number to track your package on respective shipping partner's websites and contact them for any issues with delivery.

For international orders shipped outside India, tracking is not available for Airmail shipping. Limited tracking is available for orders shipped through Registered Airmail which is supported for most countries.

What payment methods are supported?

What are my Shipping options?

We ship all domestic orders within India through reputed shipping partners like Blue Dart, Fedex, Professional Couriers and even India Post Speed Post in some cases. Your package may be sent through any of these couriers based on your pin code location, service availability and quality of the delivery services of our shipping partners in a particular sector and number of items ordered. Orders to remote areas, where no courier service is available to the shipping address pin code, will be sent through Speed Post which may take additional 3-4 working days for delivery.

For international orders, the following shipping methods are available :

Airmail - Free for all orders above US$ 7.99. The delivery period is between 10-20 working days. Although most orders get delivered within 2 weeks, it may take up to 30 business days or more in certain countries. Delivery periods depend on the delivery standards of your local postal services. Tracking is not available for Airmail shipping.

Registered Airmail - Available for a small fee of US$ 4 on all orders. Same as Airmail shipping with delivery on signature, added reliability and some limited tracking.

Please note that Signature is required for all Registered Airmail packages at the time of delivery. If nobody is available to sign and receive the package at the time of delivery, it is returned to your nearest local post office for pickup. In case you have not received your package even after 3-4 days have passed beyond the stipulated transit time, kindly contact your nearest post office with the tracking number and check whether they have your package.

How long does it take to ship and for the orders to arrive?

Normally we ship all orders within 1-2 business days after order placement. After we ship, allow around 3-10 business days for orders to reach you. The delivery time would vary from region to region and sometimes may take few additional business days if your address is in a remote area. Normally orders shipped to metros and other major cities are delivered within 2-3 business days. Please understand that delays caused by courier services or other external factors are beyond our control.

For International orders, the delivery period varies from country to country. The average delivery period is between 10-20 working days. Although most orders get delivered within 2 weeks, it may take up to 30 business days or more in certain countries. Delivery periods depend on the delivery standards of your local postal services.

How do I track my package?

Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email with the tracking number along with the shipping partner's name. You can track the packages on the respective websites of the shipping partners using the provided tracking number.

For international orders shipped outside India, tracking is not available for Airmail shipping. Limited tracking for Registered mails is available for most countries although it may be very limited in information and may not be available for every stage of the transit.

I have still not received my order. What should I do?

All domestic orders within the India take 3-10 business days to get delivered. All international orders (outside India) take around 10-25 business days to get delivered.

In most of the cases where an order is being shipped to a company or commercial address, delivery agents are not allowed to hand deliver the packages directly to the consignee or contact person. In such cases check with your courier department/mailroom or security at the entrance who accepts all the packages on behalf of your company.

If you order is being shipped to a residential colony or apartment, check with the security or concierge at the entrance if they have your package.

Also check your order confirmation e-mail to see if your shipping address is accurate. If you notice a mistake, please contact our customer support immediately. It may also be a good idea to contact the respective shipping partner to get the exact status of your package.

All international orders (outside India) take around 10-25 business days to get delivered.

Cancellation & Returns

Do you offer a Return Policy?

Yes, we do offer a 30 Day Money-Back Guarantee. If you are not 100% sure that you can install GadgetShieldz on your device, simply return us the entire package in an unused and resalable condition for a refund. The packaging and its contents have to be in the same condition as received. Please note that there will be a deduction of Rs.150 (US$ 2.99) restocking fee from the refunds for each ordered item. Any shipping & handling charges paid will not be part of the refunds.

How do I cancel my order?

In case you wish to cancel your order, please email us with your order number along with your cancellation request.

Can I cancel the order before deilvery?

You can cancel your order within 12 hours of order placement if it has not been shipped. Once orders are shipped, refunds will be processed only after we receive the returned package from your side.

How do I return the package and who pays for the return shipping?

You should safely pack the order and return it back to us using a shipping service with pre-paid shipping. Please mention your invoice and order number on the package so that we can identify your return and process the refund correctly. We would not accept any returns which are not sent with shipping charges pre-paid.

How much time will it take for my refunds to show up?

Once we receive your returned package, your refunds will be processed within 1-2 business days. Once the refund has been processed, allow 6-7 business days for it to show up in your original payment source used. In some cases, it may take around 10-12 business days for the refunds to get credited in your payment source.

What will be the mode of refunds?

Your refunds will be sent to the original payment source used by you at the time of placing your order. For example, if you had used a credit card to make your payment, your refund will be sent to your credit card.
